Tangoes Jr. is based on the four thousand-year-old Chinese tangram puzzle. Legend says that a man dropped a porcelain tile which broke into seven pieces. As he tried to reconstruct the square, he created various shapes. Today, there are hundreds of designs that you can create with the seven pieces. Tangoes Jr. allows you to create recognizable images, including animals, people, and everyday objects. Also featured is a blank card so that you can make your own exciting Tangoes design. The set comes with a case with carrying handle, 12 double-sided puzzle cards, and a large, magnetic playing surface. Simply place a puzzle card on the playing surface, then place each of the seven puzzle pieces on top of the card to solve the puzzle! Each shape has two levels of difficulty. The first shows how each individual piece fits together to form an image. The second shows only a silhouette of the image; the divisions between puzzle pieces are not shown! This allows Tangoes Jr. to grow along with your child, and offers a greater challenge for older children.
